Our team consists of talented coaches, instructors, mental performance coaches, Kinesiology professionals (Kin), teachers, and support staff.   • Ottawa Sports is a dynamic and growing company with a snow school that offers a variety of programs at multiple locations throughout the Ottawa area (traveling snow school). As we gear up for the upcoming winter season, we are currently seeking passionate, experienced, and motivated CSIA Level 2, 3, and 4 Instructors to join our team.

    Our Snow School program prides itself on delivering high-quality instruction and memorable experiences to our students. We believe that skiing is not just a sport, but a lifestyle that fosters community, personal growth, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.

    Job Details:

    • Position: Ski Instructor.

    • Certification Required: CSIA Level 2, 3 or 4. Level 1's who are looking to develop their CSIA certifications are welcome to apply.

    • Location: Various resorts around the Ottawa/Gatineau region.

    • Employment: Part-Time: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Friday Evenings. Sundays.

    • Compensation: Up to $41.60 per hour. Based on qualifications and experience.

    Responsibilities:

    • Deliver engaging and effective ski lessons for a variety of ages and skill levels.

    • Provide personalized feedback and guidance to help students improve their skills and confidence.

    • Uphold and promote a safe, fun, and inclusive environment.

    • Participate in staff training sessions and meetings.

    Requirements:

    • CSIA Level 2, 3, or 4 certification

    • CASI dual certified - preferred

    • Proven experience as a ski instructor

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Strong work ethic and professional attitude

    • Access to reliable transportation

  • As the school year gets underway, Ottawa Sports is excited to ramp up our Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) certification courses in Health and Wellness and Sports. We are seeking passionate and dedicated Kinesiology Professionals with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology (BKIn) or a Master’s degree in a related field to join our team. This role involves certifying grade 11/12 high school students and developing comprehensive certification curriculum for these programs.

    About Us: Ottawa Sports is a forward-thinking organization committed to providing high-quality educational & sports programs. Our SHSM certification courses aim to equip students with valuable skills and knowledge in Health and Wellness or Sports, preparing them for future careers and academic pursuits.

    Job Details:

    • Position: Kinesiology Professional (Kin) - BKin or Master’s Degree

    • Location: Various high schools and facilities around the Ottawa & Upper Canada district.

    • Employment: Part-Time or Contract-Based

    • Compensation: Competitive, based on qualifications and experience. $35 to $49.85 per hour.

    Responsibilities:

    • Create active and collaborative learning environments.

    • Develop and create curriculum and training materials for SHSM certification courses in Health and Wellness or Sports.

    • Deliver engaging and effective certification courses to high school students.

    • Provide mentorship and support to students throughout their certification journey.

    • Collaborate with high school educators and administrators to ensure course alignment and integration.

    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to maintain the relevance and quality of the certification programs.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology (BKIn) or a Master’s degree in a related field, MSc.

    • Experience in curriculum development, coaching sports, and SHSM programs or similar educational initiatives.

    • Proven ability to teach or train within the Health and Wellness or Sports sectors.

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Excellent organizational and instructional abilities.

    • Ability to work effectively with high school students and educational professionals.

    • Reliable transportation.
